12 Tips to Get Better at Browser FPS Games (Deadshot, Krunker & ZeroFront)

Aiming down a red-dot sight in a browser FPS

Whether you play Deadshot.io, Krunker or ZeroFront, browser shooters reward the same fundamentals as any FPS. The good news: none of them require expensive gear. These twelve habits will make you noticeably better within a few sessions.

Setup

1. Find one sensitivity and keep it

Muscle memory needs consistency. Pick a sensitivity where you can turn about 180° with one comfortable mouse swipe, and stop changing it every match.

2. Prioritise frame rate over looks

A smooth, steady frame rate makes tracking targets easier. Lower graphics settings until the game feels fluid; in ZeroFront, the Low preset and dynamic resolution are made for exactly this.

3. Use pointer lock and close distractions

Click into the game so the mouse is captured, close heavy tabs, and use headphones — hearing footsteps first wins fights.

Aim

4. Keep your crosshair at head height

Most of aiming is where your crosshair already is when an enemy appears. Walk with it at head level, pointed at corners and doorways, and you will need tiny adjustments instead of big flicks.

5. Aim down sights at range, hip-fire up close

Spread grows when you move and fire from the hip. At medium and long range, aim down sights and let the first shots land before you spray.

6. Learn each gun's recoil

Every weapon kicks differently. In ZeroFront, an AKM climbs harder than an M416 and a Vector fires so fast that short bursts beat holding the trigger. Spend a few minutes in solo mode learning to pull down against the kick.

7. Go for headshots — but not at all costs

Headshots deal double damage in most browser shooters, ZeroFront included. Aim for the head when the target is steady; when they are moving fast, centre mass is the safer bet.

Movement

8. Never stand still in a gunfight

Strafing left and right while you shoot makes you much harder to hit, especially against players who aim at your body.

9. Reload behind cover

Reloading in the open is the most common way to lose a fight you were winning. Count your shots and duck behind a wall, crate or drift before the magazine runs dry — or switch to your sidearm.

10. Use height

Catwalks, towers and ramps give you a wider view and a smaller target. In ZeroFront, the watchtower on Blackpine Reserve and the ski-lift station on Whiteout Pass are prime spots.

Game sense

11. Read the kill feed and listen

The kill feed tells you where fights are happening. Gunfire you can hear but not see tells you which way to look next. Use both to avoid walking into third-party fights.

12. Review, don't rage

After a death, ask one question: what would I do differently? Wrong position, wrong weapon or a reload at the wrong time are all fixable. Tilted players stop improving.
